The Boledi Mafogo Foundation is a not-for-profit organization committed to building agency with rural-based girls in the Maruleng Municipality through education, mentorship, and community development. We believe in preserving Indigenous Knowledge Systems while advancing access to feminine hygiene, health awareness, and digital literacy.


Our work bridges generations, connecting young girls with community mentors and bridges divides, ensuring that rural GIRLS gain the tools, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

This crisis directly threatens the safety, dignity, and future of the girls the organization serves. As a Foundation focused on girls, BMF’s mandate is to protect, empower, and create environments where girls can thrive. Femicide undermines every element of that mission. Standing with survivors, families, and communities is therefore both a moral responsibility and an extension of BMF’s commitment to advancing girls’ rights, advocating for safer communities, and ensuring that no girl’s potential is cut short by violence. #ittakesavillage?

With a great passion for conservation, Dumisa also serves as the Chairperson of the Kruger to Canyons BR Youth Network, simultaneously part of the National Structure of the same body. His dedication to youth development and environmental stewardship, together with his talent in photography, he founded Spaceshots Media, capturing life's precious moments through his lens. Sebolaisi, a former Specialist for Special Projects is passionate about youth development and believes that young people need to fight for their space and actively decide what their future looks like. She believes that sports breeds discipline and a sense of purpose in the youth and that more investment should be made to nurture youth in sport. She will be directing and steering the ship during the #BMFgala Having hosted many events in her career, her wit and shared vision for community development will definitely add an extra touch to the evening! We hope to enhance digital literacy and to promote digital inclusion. Our integrated approach encompasses mentorship initiatives and community-driven projects aimed at catalyzing positive change within the community. By addressing both individual and community needs, we aim to create a dynamic ecosystem that nurtures girls' growth and well-being, thereby enhancing the overall resilience and vitality of the village.
